The Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA) Educators’ Course has today Wednesday 13th  December, 2023 climaxed at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru.

38 participants from across the country turned up for a five (5) day course.

UYFA chairman Robert Kiwanuka was pleased with the with the attendance and he’s optimistic the Association is moving in the right direction.

“We have had a series of activities this year and the final bend of the have come with this big one.

After the completion of the educators’ course, I believe we are moving towards the planned direction.

The coming year has a tight schedule including the U13 National championship and the symposium in the first quarter”. Robert Kiwanuka.

Mark Schuurman from Netherlands was the chief instructor during the course and he was assisted by Ernesto Tunga and Kevin Kanu from Sparta Rotterdam.

“We have specifically focused on how a coach can teach a player to solve the problem on the pitch during the game.

In the modern garden, the youth must be at liberty/freedom to express them on the field of play”. Mark Schuurman

The five day course that started on Wednesday 13th will climax on Sunday, the 17th, December 2023.

The closing ceremony was also graced by the FUFA deputy CEO in charge of football development Decolas Kiiza.
