Two lucky winners John Bosco Mugisha and a one Florence Nandede Anomo based in Mbale have driven home brand new 100% electric car.

On Wednesday, the 25^th July 2024, Mandela Group started an electric car promo and the two were declared the maiden winners.

The cars were handed over to the excited winners at Mandela Group of Companies headquarters this Friday evening, the 26^th July 2024 on 6^th Street in Industrial Area.

In a move to protect, conserve and repair damaged environment locally and globally, scientists all over the world have intensified the move from fuel to 100% electric cars.

Mandela Group of Companies through its City tyres in conjunction with Linglong company have joined the cause.

To win, the two bought two Linglong tyres at City Oil Nakawa branch to enter the draw.

Despite being environmental conserve and protector, these cars are cost cutting. The cars will cut off the vehicle noise and air pollution since they produce no smoke.

When fully charged, it covers a distance of more than 300KM. When charge at home, it takes 8 hours to full battery.

However, City Oil and the government of Uganda have started the establishment of charging centers across the country.

The powerful facilities like one established at City Oil Kamwokya take only 30 minutes to full charge.

Immediately after today’s hand over of the two cars to the winners, Mandela Group have launched another promo where three lucky winners will drive home in a brand new car each.
