The second edition of the Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA) Chenga National championship has today Saturday, 20^th January 2024 climaxed.

El Cambio Soccer Academy is the new crowned girls football champion after their slim 1-0 win over Kick It Soccer Academy in the final.

Immaculate Acen stared as El Cambio sealed maiden girls Chenga National trophy.

Named as the tournament most valuable player (MVP) dynamic forward Immaculate Acen scored a beauty to inspire her side El Cambio power past resilient Kick It Soccer Academy in a 1-0 final win held on a sunny day.

The entertainment filled final was held at Mbarara High School grounds in Mbarara City on Saturday afternoon, the 20^th January 2024.

The Masaka based El Cambio won the final duel against Kick It Soccer Academy 1-0.

Patricia Tendo of Kick It Soccer Academy was the top scorer, Deborah Babirye (Kick It) was the tourney’s best goalkeeper, whilst Immaculate Acen was named the MVP of the tournament.

The two sides advanced to the semi-final stage as Group A and B leaders.

El Cambio through Immaculate Acen and Patience Asanyo scored a goal each against Miracle Youth Soccer Academy in the semi-final to storm final.

In the second semi-final, Kick It Soccer Academy eliminated Garuga by 4-3 in penalties after a goalless draw in the normal time.

This is the second edition of UYFA Chenga National championship for girls under the age of 13 years.
