Magical El Cambio Academy produced the greatest entertainment on day two in both boys and girls as Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA) Chenga National championship hits day two in Mbarara City.

Despite falling to Western power house Lions Sports Academy in the boys football to drop out of the tournament, the girls stunned Garuga in a one side dominated 1-0 duel held on wed evening.

Immaculate Acen scored the only goal in the game to give the tit-tak styled El Cambio Academy a win in their opener.

Patience Asanyo winger Annet Nakalanda the magical left footed Immaculate Acen were the day’s tormentors against the Entebbe road side Garuga.

In the other game, Kick It Soccer got off the mark with the day’s biggest win to pocket maximum points.

The Wakiso Sub-region champions won 3-0 against Kigezi Sports Club.

Doreen Nakato grabbed a brace while Patricia Tendo scored the other as Kick It won 3-0.

Elsewhere, Mayisa and Muyambe Soccer Academy played for a 1-all draw.

Purity Acen (Mayisa) and Matovu Swagia (Muyambe) were on score sheet.

The games will continue tomorrow as El Cambio take on Talent Platform, Miracle Youth face off with Kick it and Kigezi Soccer Academy lock horns with Muyambe in day two.

The winner of this edition in both boys and girls will be announced on Saturday, the 20th January 2024.

All games are played at Mbarara High School grounds in Mbarara City.
